In addition to her Real Estate company, Susan owns Meisel Decorative Arts, a unique antique store in Soho. Her husband Louis opened the world renowned Louis K. Meisel gallery in 1972, which continues to be one of Soho's oldest and best known galleries.
Susan and Louis are also successful Real Estate investors and developers, owning numerous retail stores and residential investment property. Ari R. Meisel attended the Wharton School of Business where he majored in Real Estate. After school, he worked for a Japanese real estate development company in Austin, TX. In 2003, he purchased a series of old industrial cigar warehouses in Binghamton, NY and began the process of converting them into high end luxury lofts and creating a local SoHo district named DEPOT.
Following the success of the Depot Lofts, Ari focused on green mixed use development in the Hamptons. He became a LEED AP and based on his expertise in construction and material science, published LEED Materials: A Resource Guide to Green Building. He is now focused on his own development projects and real estate sales in downtown Manhattan.
